During the one-day bootcamp, businesses from Tees Valley will benefit from sessions on how to get your business online, sell your products on Amazon, send your products to customers, scale your operations and master social media. You’ll also benefit from meeting a group of founders from your region, Amazon specific training and advice from a dedicated group of experts and advisers. This bootcamp is hosted online.
The Amazon Small Business Accelerator Bootcamp is free to join but does require a commitment of 3.5 hours of learning time (9am to 12.30pm BST) on Wednesday 3rd February. At the end of the bootcamp, you’ll receive a certificate showing that you completed the course – evidence that you are a fully-fledged online business!

What is the Amazon Small Business Accelerator?
The Amazon Small Business Accelerator is a new programme designed to help people Start, Grow or Turbo-charge their business depending on their needs with access to e-learning, exclusive sector-specific bootcamp trainings to help people get trading online quickly, as well as events, tools and services. Developed by Enterprise Nation and Amazon, we want to support every type of business, from start-ups to scale-ups and established small businesses looking for easy-to-access training and tools to help them succeed in the digital world.
What are the bootcamps?
There will be 10 bootcamps running over the 12 months, focused on specific sectors and regions. They will be fully focused on helping offline businesses get online.
Who should apply and what is the selection process?
The bootcamps are designed for existing and newly formed small and medium businesses with less than a quarter of sales online, to help them build an online presence. The businesses taking part must have a product in stock and ready to sell to customers. We will select businesses to take part in each bootcamp based on their motivation to get online and their readiness to start selling.
How much will it cost?
The education in the bootcamp is completely free. If you wish to follow our recommendation of setting up an Amazon Account to grow your online presence, there is a £25 monthly fee for being on the professional selling plan.
