About ISO MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS AND UKCA MARKING: THE ESSENTIALS

Join us for a half day workshop  to discover and deepen your understanding of the tangible benefits of implementing ISO management systems (including 9001(quality), 14001 (environmental) and 45001 (health & safety) in your business and how to decide if it’s right for you. The workshop will provide a pragmatic perspective for small business owners and directors, operational and compliance managers and any business seeking to improve their internal processes. Additionally, the presentation will also highlight the business development potential for ISO accredited companies.

An overview of the UKCA marketing system will also be included within this workshop – an essential for any company who currently have CE marking, use or sell CE marked products. UKCA (UK Conformity Assessment) marking is a new UK product marking that is used for goods being placed on the market in Great Britain (England, Wales and Scotland). It covers most goods which previously required the CE marking, known as ‘new approach’ goods.

UKCA marking came into effect on 1 January 2021. However, to allow businesses time to adjust to the new requirements, a staged approach has allowed CE marking to remain in place until 31 December 2022, when UKCA marking takes over from I January 2023, with further changes in 2024.
