The Department for International Trade invites you to attend the webinar “Opportunities arising for Cuban Biotechnological drug development for the treatment of COVID-19 and other diseases”. The webinar will be broken down into three sessions:

Session 1:
Expanding the access of Cuban Biotechnological drugs to European patients, through Alliances and Partnerships

Session 2:
JUSVINZA, a promising drug for the treatment of severe and critical COVID-19 patients
Speaker: Business executive, CIGB: Merardo Pujol

Session 3:
Novel Cuban drugs for joint development within Oncology
Speaker: Scientific Director, CIM, Kalet Leon

The Scope is to cover:

  • The role of medications produced by the Cuban biotechnology industry in the COVID-19 epidemic;
  • The context of these developments related to these treatments, as well as some of their specific features, providing decision makers with information to consider use of these medications in local health care systems and;
  • The scope and size of opportunity for collaboration and joint projects.
