The event will be a SHOWCASE of all that’s great about Redcar and Cleveland. The event will include:

EXHIBITION – Ambassadors will be invited to ‘take a stand’ – a chance to showcase your organisation to an estimated audience of up to 200 people.

NETWORKING – Catch up or make new contacts; whilst meeting up with the exhibitors and other attendees.

SPEAKERS – Hear from some engaging speakers, about the exciting things happening in Redcar and Cleveland, and hear some inspiring stories.

Taking place at Gisborough Hall Hotel, this event has been organised by Redcar | Cleveland Place Marketing with the Business Group of the Redcar | Cleveland Place Board.

SPEAKERS

You’ll get to hear from some excellent speakers at the event. The Place Board Chair, Angela Brockbank will welcome delegates to the event, followed by the Mayor of Redcar and Cleveland, Councillor Stuart Smith who will officially open the event.

Keynote speakers include:

• David Jack from SeAH Wind – David will be talking about SeAH’s £300m investment in Redcar and Cleveland, at the Teesworks site.
• Geoff Greaves, MD of Merlin Cinemas – Geoff will be talking about Merlin’s exciting plans for The Regent cinema, Redcar.

There will also be a selection of speakers joining a panel discussion covering the LIVE, ENJOY and BUSINESS themes of our place marketing work. The panel discussion will be hosted by BBC Radio Tees presenter, Rachel Teate, with panellists including:

• Beth Smith – Assistant Curator, Tees Valley Arts / Blooming Youth Collective
• Jason Faulkner – Principal, Redcar & Cleveland College
• Joanna Andrews – Managing Director, Charm Productions UK
• Mark Reynolds – Development and Sustainability Director, Teesside International Airport
