This workshop will look at the different ways you can market your business and how to maximise social media.
Our business start-up workshops are aimed at anyone with a business idea who wants to take the next step and move it forward. It will give you the skills and knowledge to run a successful business.
This workshop is concentrated on Marketing and Social Media, here is what you can expect:
This workshop will look at an overview of what marketing is and why it is important to market your business in the right way. We will look at traditional methods of marketing and also explore the importance of social media marketing for business.
This workshop is suitable for pre-start businesses as well as those in the early stages of trading. It is fully ERDF funded so no cost to attend but you must be based in the North East of England to attend.
The workshop will cover:
• Introduction to marketing – we will be looking at what is marketing and why it is important
• Offline marketing – identifying different ways to market your business without the internet and how to make the most of these options
• Online marketing – identifying different ways to market your business online and how you can do these effectively
• Social Media marketing – This section will look at some of the different types of social media, how to identify which are the best for your business and tips on how to engage your audience
