Join us to learn about imminent new legislation to digitise documents and speed up and simplify trade – especially international sales.
The Electronic Trade Documents Bill is currently on its way through parliament and will very quickly become law.
The new legislation will simplify trade, and allow you to digitise some of the official and at times onerous paperwork required for doing business by creating secure digital documentation. This will make aspects of national and international trade quicker, more secure and simpler.
Join us on 30th March in the heart of Middlesbrough Port at the new AV Dawson The Staithes building when Neil Warwick OBE, a recognised expert in EU & Competition Law, and National Portfolio Chair for International Trade and Regulation for the Federation of Small Businesses, the largest trade organisation in the UK, will be giving a briefing on the bill and its positive impact.
Neil will give an overview of the new bill and how it aims to revolutionise many aspects of business, especially international trade, and the sharing of official documents.
He will also outline the role of the Centre for Digital Trade and Innovation (C4DTI) based at Teesside University, and how you can access their support in making the most of the opportunities from the Electronic Trade Bill.
Neil will also touch on other upcoming legislative changes including the Windsor Framework, their benefits, and how to prepare for the impact and stay ahead of the competion.
